Description

EdemaWear Stockinette is a soft, safe and effective treatment for edema of all types that uses an innovative compression system to reduce swelling. Unlike traditional compression garments, which act as lymphatic tourniquets, EdemaWear’s Fuzzy Wale Compression™ technology creates zero pressure zones between compression furrows to enhance lymphatic drainage.

Swelling “melts away” in extremities while the patient remains comfortable. Subcutaneous fat between the wales is not compressed, acting as a zero-pressure zone. This helps with lymphatic drainage from the skin that is compressed under the wales. Fuzzy Wale Compression™ uses corduroy-like wales up and down the extremity, and Lycra® elastic spandex provides compression in between.
