At Walgreen Health Solutions, we have long known that our operations have an impact on the environment. That’s why, every year since 1993, we have recycled all of our packaging and paper waste. Through our continued efforts, we have kept an average of four tons of waste per year from going to the landfill.
But maintaining a commitment to sustainability requires more than a recycling bin. That’s why we partnered with a local corporate sustainability consultant, Go2Green. With their assistance, we completed a rigorous process that reviewed all aspects of our business.  Every one of our Heelift® Brand Boots has D2W certified biodegradable packaging. This innovation alone will remove hundreds of thousands of plastic bags from landfills.Â
The changes at our corporate headquarters are just the beginning. We have introduced the D2W certified biodegradable package for our flagship product, the Heelift® Suspension Boot, and the Heelift® AFO.
